What A Night! What A Day!

It's a beautiful night! The Steven L. Smith Band is playing at the Bandstand for the Tribute To The Troops concert, the crowd is grooving and nearby restaurants and bars are packed.
Summer came early today and kissed Schroon for a very memorable start to the first ever Opening Weekend, to kick off the Memorial Day Holiday.
Throughout the day a steady stream of folks checked out a variety of exhibits at the Summer Expo, while a large crowd enjoyed the 80 plus degree weather at the beach. Nearby, bargain hunters were picking through treasures at the annual Lions Club garage sale at the Boathouse.
More than a dozen boats and jet skis were blessed dockside. Throughout the day musicians entertained crowds at the bandstand. Folks even earned how to belly dance and zumba.
"It's been a huge success," organizer Shelby Davis said tonight.
"I'm already thinking about what we can do next year."
Everyone we spoke to had a terrific day and thought it was a great idea.
"I loved it, it was great, I'm ready for more," said Steve Kushner, from Montclair, New Jersey.
