So Much For That Summer Weather

Hope you still are enjoying the glow of that summer like weather we had over the weekend, when the forecasters got it wrong. Well, right now hail and severe thundtersorms  -- with the possibility of flooding -- is in our forecast for late this afternoon and this evening. Got weather pics you want ot share? From the National Weather Service:

Late Afternoon: Occasional showers and thunderstorms. Some storms could be severe, with large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain. High near 90. South wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely before 2am, then a slight chance of showers between 2am and 3am. Some storms could be severe, with large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. South wind between 3 and 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
