Monday
Starting at 9am local farmers and producers hope to temp you their with delicious goodies at the weekly Farmer’s Market. At the Town Hall ‘til 1pm.
Playing all this week at the Strand at 8 pm is Madagascar 3. The movie changes Thursday night.
Tune your guitars and grab your banjos. And get your ears and butt down to the Band Jam at the Boathouse. Unamplified instruments of all shapes and sizes are welcome at 7 pm. Do yourself a favor and check this out.
Tuesday
Adirondack Stories and Tall Tales for Kids. A deiightful evening for kids as they learn about the traditons and history of the Adirindacks. At the Paradox House and Gallery Retreat. 7pm - 8.30 pm.518-351-5003
Zumba Queen Cathy Peace sweats off the calories twice a week at her Zumba workout. Every Tuesday and Thursday mornings (8 am to 9 am) @ the Schroon Lake Central School gym, join Cathy for some rockin’ Zumba. $5 per class.
Wednesday
Besides the Big July 4th celebration, there’s a also the Used Book Fair in the Basement of the Hudson Headwaters Health Building. 10 am - 2 pm. Sponsored by the Friends of Schroon Lake Library.
Thursday
Pontoon Boat Narrated Cruise. Wanna learn about Schroon’s rich and colorful history? Then you must check out this tour narrated by Laura Donaldson, from the Schroon Lake Chamber of Commerce. The tour starts at 11 am . Tickets are available at the chamber. Call 518 532-7675 for details.
Take home a slice of your vacation with something from the Adirondack Artisans and Crafters Market. On the lawn at the Town Hall. 10 am – 4 pm.
Come learn a terrific art project with the very talented Anne Gregson. Anne’s first class of the summer is on Paper Mosaic Masterpieces. Starts at 9.30am in the Town Park. Call 518-532-0275.
Tennis Anyone? Well if you are a kid and desire to improve your swing, serve or volley -- or even if you dont know what a tenns raquet is -- the Town Of Schroon provides free tennis lessons for kids all summer long. Starting today, lessons are from 4pm - 6pm for grades 1st - 12. Starting next Tuesday, the lesons kick off at 9 am - 11 am. Call Pat Savarie for more informaton at 518-532-7737.

Ride ‘em Cowboys and Cowgirls. We hear that last week’s first rodeo of the season was a huge success. Come check out the family fun night and a live petting zoo and dozens of other activities. WOL Ranch in Pottersville.

Schroon Lake’s own DJ Vinnie Vinyl spins everything from hip hop to pop in this rockin' dance party. Timberwolf’s Pub. 8 pm - midnight.
