This weekend is gonna be the primo weekend for leaf peeping, spectacular fall hiking and biking, and boating – and a whole lot more. And on the arts scene there's The ADK Shakespeare's Farm to Table event , Love's Labor's Lost!
Right here in greater Schroon, there are trails a'plenty to stretch your legs and seek out some superb sights – and a little further a field it’s the annual Gore Mountain Harvest Fest on Saturday and Sunday.
There’s live entertainment all weekend long with Cosmic Jackson playing Saturday from 12 – 4 pm and Council Fire on stage Sunday from 12 – 4pm.
There’s a host of family fun activities, as well as Gondola rides – free to 2013/2014 season pass-holders. There will also be ADK arts and crafts with a special Petting Zoo and Pony rides, hosted by Schroon and Pottersville’s own Word Of Life.
And if you’ve never seen Gore from the air – and who has??? – now is your chance with a 5 or 10 minute helicopter ride. Call at (518) 361-1380 to reserve a spot.
