The Knitty Gritty of Knitting

There’s never a dull moment at the Schroon Lake Library. The staff is intent on keeping things interesting, always, for just about everybody. From free movies, to art and computer classes, reading and gardening adventures for kids, to serving up the summer masses with good reads and free Wi-Fi, Librarian chief Jane Bouchard and her gang are a powerhouse.

So, as the weather cools, the library is starting a very winter activity: a weekly knitting group.

From Jane:

We will meet every Thursday during the winter months to learn new techniques, work on projects together, and free knit. Our group is perfect for the beginner knitter or anyone that would like to learn to knit, as well as more seasoned knitters. New members are always welcome! Bring a project to work on or share to the first meeting. We will be choosing a project to begin at the next meeting. An assortment of needles is available at the library for members to borrow.

Where & When: The group starts on Thursday, November 7th, from  9:00 am - 11:00 am. For more information contact the library at (518) 532-7737 ext. 13.
