Be Careful Out There
/Be extra careful as you get around today – there are several hazardous weather conditions that could impact our area today - so be safe!
According to the National Weather Service, we could be hit with an ice storm -- up to half an inch -- and there’s an advisory until 7pm tonight.
As a result there are a couple of cancellations and closings:
From David Peterson, from Mountainside Bible Chapel:
"Mountainside Bible Chapel Morning Worship Service has been moved to 6pm. The Caroling and Supper is cancelled. This is anticipating the travel ban will be lifted and temperatures will be safe for travel."
Mr. P’s Mountain Smokehouse:
"Hey Mr. P's fans, we're going to be closed today. Hope everyone can stay off the roads, stay safe and "shelter in place" today. If you have holiday goodies or pies you were going to pick up today, please email us and we can set up a time for pick up on Monday or Tuesday".
