Thanks to a new Jobs Board Facebook page -- created by Schroon Laker Shelby Davis -- there's now one stop shopping for area job hunters seeking full and part time seasonal work.

From new restaurants like Sticks and Stones, to favorites like Witherbee's Carriage House and Mr. P's Mountain Smokehouse and Shleby's Kitchen Therapy, to the busiest place in town during the summer -- the Grand Union -- there are more than two dozens jobs currently listed.

"I was originally going to start a staffing agency, a small business for the local area," Shelby told Schroon Laker today.

"But it made more sense to open it up to everyone, and then the Facebook page was born."

The page lists postings by individual businesses looking to hire folks, as well as locals relaying information they have heard or seen posted around town. There are also folks looking to hire individuals and seeking recommendations.
