She's A Beauty...

Hats off to the incredible work accomplished by The Schroon Lake Beautification Committee. One area where the committee has excelled is giving a dynamic makeover to a one-time eyesore – our post office grounds.

A year ago, before the committee first dug in, it was a barren plot. The post next to the mail box was an ad hoc advertising post, with business cards and flyers stapled Willie nillie, and flapping around in the breeze. Now brilliant reds and purples catch your eye.

Now it’s an inviting. Colorful space, thanks to the efforts of the committee, chaired by Nancy Harste. Congrats all.
