Will You be Doing The Zodiac Tonight?

Since summer nights of the 1930s, there’s been one tradition in Schroon that has stood the test of time, fashion and fads: our Wednesday night Square Dances.  Since 1979 they have been run by Ed Lowman.

North Country Public Radio’s Todd Moe caught up with Ed, afiddler, to talk about why the dances are so popular here, at a time when square dancing has decreased in popularity in some parts of the country.

Ed gives a terrific interview to Todd, and reveals the story behind the famous Zodiac Dance. You can listen to the interview here.
