Our Neighbors in southern Schroon are planning one heck of a party, this Saturday, August 24th to help celebrate North Warren’s Bicentennial.

A huge parade, music festival and more than 60 exhibitors are sure to make this one festive day.

The action takes place at the Old Pottersville Fairground on Route 9 in  Pottersville. The  parade kicks off  at 1pm at the Pottersville Firehouse. Grandstand viewing will be at the Wells House narrated by Oldmsteadville's very own Mike Leddick.

Scheduled to participate are  The Norwood Brass Band, Hillbilly Marching Band, Lake George Community Band, Galway Gaelic Pipes & Drums, and just back from a performance in Washington DC - Troop 236 Scout Band of Maybrook NY.

There’s a dizzying array of music starting after the parade with the Norwood Brass Band,  Hudson Creek with Zack & Matt, Dixie Six, Colleen Cleveland,  Christopher Shaw and the Prydein Celtic Rock Band.

The celebration ends with a massive fireworks display by Alonzo Fireworks!
