RIP: Daisy The Calf

We are saddened to report that Daisy -- the little calf that fought a tough battle against winter and Mother Nature -- has died.

We recently reported on the brave attempts by Anna and Dan Hay, who bought Daisy in from the cold and nursed her back to good health in their living room.

She regained full strength, before being returned to the barn. From Anna:

“RIP Daisy
The extreme tempts were too much for our little winter calf. Even with her own bedded cubby in the barn she just didn't make it. Our hearts are so sad!!”
