When we caught up with Larry McNamara, he was busily putting the finishing touches to a new stage being built in his beautiful Strand Theatre. Under the bright glare of halogen construction lights, the oak wood floor stage was glistening.
On Saturday, the new performance space will be christened when an amazing guitarist, Bill Vito, takes the stage.
“The acoustics in the place are really something very special,” Larry told Schroon Laker. “I’m very pleased with the way the stage has turned out, thanks in part to Chris Palmatier (aka Strand neighbor, Mr. P).
“I hope to have many more acts in this space this summer."
