Free Fishing in New York This Weekend!

There’s not much in life that is free, but this weekend, you can fish all you want in New York. It’s a way to introduce fishing to those folks who haven’t taken the plunge.  And the DEC has a comprehensive range of literature to educate novices about the sport. In particular, there is a terrific guide to getting kids involved, which you can find here.

And when you are ready to purchase your fresh water fishing license, you can get them from the Schroon Town Hall.
