Schroon’s New Book Store

Fancy a summer read of a potboiler, a blockbuster or want to expand your cookbook collection? Then you are in luck, as the Friends Of the Schroon Library’s Used Book Store has more than 10,000 titles in stock.

And in their new, expanded space, it’s an entirely different experience from previous years.

There’s ample room to browse the aisles, where sections are clearly labeled.  The books sit in new pine bookshelves, designed by Larry Vanderburgh and built by Peter White.

The store is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 10 am  -  2pm, in the basement of the Hudson Headwaters Health Building.
