A Chili Cook Off and An Out House Race: Connected Not In The Way You Think

It’s gonna be a busy day Saturday, February 21st with two BIG local events: The 4th Schroon Lake Chili Cook-Off and the Annual Brant Lake Winterfest -- which features an Out House Race.

Chili Cook Off Organizer, Chef Shelby Davis, hopes to top last year’s record effort – when 20 different chili dishes battled it out for top honors.

The cook off raises funds for the Schroon Lake EMS. Unlimited tasting wristbands are $15, or single tasting tickets are just $1.  And after you’ve spend some time at the Fest, head on over to the Brant Lake Winter Fest, where the highlight will be the Out House Races, the Fry Pan Toss, Snow Shoe Softball and Icicle Contest! For more on both events check out our Winter in the ‘Dacks section.
