Blue Skies, a big sun and those leaves are finally turning! And there’s so much to do this weekend. We are heading off to the Harvest Fest at Gore Mountain – there’s also a festival at Brant Lake. Read about them both here.
Also Saturday, the Like Oil and Watercolor exhibit continues at the art gallery at Giant Mountain Studio. The show is curated by gallery owner Anthony Ruiz and includes varied media featuring oil paintings and watercolors but also including acrylics, assemblages, cold wax medium, encaustic, pencil, photography, digital artwork, sculpture, rustic furniture, woodwork, carved stone, handmade baskets, stained glass, pottery and more.
Sunday it’s the annual Schroon Lake Association Get Together at Sticks and Stones. Come meet your fellow members! Not a member? Stop on by and discover why you should join this group who share the same passion: taking care of our lake. The event kicks off at 2pm.
On the live music front, Sticks and Stones has Underground Sky tonight and Dan the 1 Man Band Sunday night.
And the ADK Shakes Company wraps up its fall tour this Sunday night at the Seagle Music Colony with The Winters Tale. There is a Farm To table Reception at 6pm, before the show starts at 7pm. Tickets are available at the door.
And the fall is always a good time for a horse ride at Circle B Ranch, which you can find details about by clicking here.
