Hit TV Show American Pickers to Pick in The Adirondacks

The History Channel hit show American Pickers is coming to the North Country.

The show’s two stars, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz have chosen the Lake George area as their base to go barnstorming, garage gallivanting, junk jiving and shed shopping, looking for hidden and not so hidden treasures.

The team will film episodes of their hit series throughout New York and shooting begins in April. And some locals (CALLING ALL FRIONTIER TOWN COLLECTORS!!!) may well be sitting on treasures Mike and Frank are in the market for: western gear.

They are also looking for vintage bicycles, toys, unusual radios, movie memorabilia, advertising, military items, folk art, vintage musical equipment, vintage automotive items, early firefighting equipment and vintage clothing.
