July 4th 2015: From Wonderful To Wet

It was a 4th of July Schroon style to remember – on so many levels. From the traditional Community Church Barbecue, all day kids activities and music at the beach, as Main Street buzzed all day.  The entrée to the main course went off perfectly.

Once again the parade dazzled.  It’s always an amazing experience to be part of a small town tradition, which rolls out a HUGE event. The smiles and cheering from an exuberant crowd, candy galore and seeing so many flags waved is very special.

But then things went south pretty fast, thanks to a nasty weather front, which really messed things up. Read more in our July 4, 2015 section.
