A sure sign that summer is coming to an end – the last Word of Life Summer Family Rodeo. And that means tonight is your last chance to taste the legendary rodeo burger, which we have fond memories of.

Folks who have tried it says it’s a little taste of heaven served here on Earth! Shawn Baker has the inside scoop on what makes this burger so delicious.

“It's two slices of grilled Texas Toast, 1/3 pound beef patty with Cajun BBQ sauce, Caramelized Onions, and Pepper Jack cheese! All for only $5 (or you can get a Meal Deal for $7, which includes chips and a drink)

“We began selling the Rodeo Burgers in the summer of 2009, so this is only our 7th summer, but they are a local favorite! They are also only available 8 days a year (Rodeo Nights, each Friday, during the WOL summer camp season)."

So what are you waiting for? This summer Friday night tradition is a terrific night out for families. Besides the rodeo, there’s a kids fun play area and an amazing petting zoo.
