The Ices And The Ice Nots

Although it ain't much of a bragging contest, the north end of Schroon Lake can boast a thickish covering of ice. Meanwhile, those at the south end of the lake, could take a dip or jump in their boats and go fishing. The demarkation line seems to be around the Eagle Piont Campground. Indeed, whacky weather patterns aren't helping winter sports lovers, including sledders and those who love ice fishing all parts of our lake. Below freezing conditions early Saturday, turned into almost balmy Spring like weather in the high 30s, by early afternoon. What's your prediction for the rest of the season?
