Tonight (Saturday, February 6) Giant Mountain Studio presents its new group exhibit, Abstraction and Dimension. The show is curated by gallery owner Anthony Ruiz and features works from more than twenty artists.  The opening reception is tonight from 6pm - 8pm.

From Anthony: “The Abstraction and Dimension invitational group exhibition will feature art with elements of abstraction and 3 dimensional art including sculpture, pottery, assemblage, rustic furniture and more.  Robert James Hacunda is the featured artist for this exhibition. He is a career oil painter who maintains a studio and property in Ironville in Crown Point NY. (The 200 year old Sisson Farm) He has been shown and sold in NYC, The Hudson Valley, Santa Fe, San Fransisco, Germany, Singapore and Bali Indonesia. His work ranges from abstract to plein air landscapes and everything in between.

Other new and/or featured artists for this exhibition include: Shawn Halperin - carved wooden vessels and mixed media collage - Wilfred Charbonneau Jr. - antler sculptures - Jon Segan - oil on panel with assemblage and sculpture -Joan Burke - abstract paintings -Jonathan Swartwout - paintings and rustic furniture  - Barry Gregson - rustic furniture - Matthew Gregson - rustic furniture and carved stone bowls -Peter Shrope - Adirondack Rockware pottery - Rhea Costello - oil paintings and pottery- Merrell Leavitt - metal sculptures and jewelry- Yvonne Wild - pottery - Shelley Valachovic - watercolors and handmade bark and pine needle baskets".
