Vikings in Schroon At Scaroon Saturday
/The talents of the Adirondack Shakespeare Company's actors know no bounds. From the concept of stripping down Shakespeare to it's bare-bones, and performing those productions in natural and unorthodox settings, these talented thespians are breaking the rules with big smiles on their faces.
And smiles are what you are bound to see today when the company premieres its new production for kids, Legends of the Vikings; Thor, at the Scaroon Manor amphitheater. Written by company cofounder Patrick Siler -- with some very cool costumes produced by the cast -- this production will amaze and delight children of all ages. The performance features live music by the cast, as well as a nine-foot giant frost giant!
It's at 3pm and is free with admission to the park. Bring a cushion for your bum, as the old concrete is a tad uncomfortable! For more information visit their website http://www.adkshakes.org
