Meet the Stars of Schroon's Adirondack Folk Fest: Part 1

Meet Atwater and Donnelly, the highly praised husband and wife duo playing the Adirondack Folk Festival, on Sunday August 13.

Aubrey and Elwood – no strangers to the Festival – blend gorgeous vocals with an astounding array of instruments including the mountain dulcimer, old-time banjo, tin whistle, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, limberjacks, feet and more.

Whew!

The couple, based in Warren, Rhode Island, have traveled extensively for thirty years in the United States, with occasional trips to Ireland, England, and Canada.

It's on these trips, they discover new songs and dances one by one. They have produced seven books, thirteen recordings that receive international airplay, and were featured in a documentary by son, Uriah Donnelly.

When and Where: The Adirondack Folk Festival. The Schroon Lake Bandshell. Dock Street, 12pm - 5pm, Sunday August 13, 2017. FREE. Proudly sponsored by the Schroon Lake Arts Council.
