Wine Tasting For A Great Cause

It’s one of autumn’s most anticipated events: the Annual Wine Tasting at Sticks & Stones to raise funds for the Schroon Lake Library.

Mark your calendars -- Sunday, September 17 from 2pm - 4 pm -- for appetizers, courtesy of Steve and Gary, various flights of wine and entertainment by Vinnie Leddick.

Patty Kosiba is the sommelier, providing the wines to taste. Once you find your new favorite, you can purchase them from the Schroon Lake Wine and Liquor Store. A portion of the purchase will benefit the library.

One of the organizers, Pam Scavera, says Sticks & Stones will also provide non-alcoholic beverages for those who do not drink wine.

“It's a great afternoon of good wine, good food, good music and good company to benefit a good cause. With the library expansion, every fundraising dollar is important,” says Pam.
