Schroon’s Music Scene Soars
/It’s no secret that Schroon’s Music and Art scene is one of the most vibrant and happening in the Adirondacks.
Sticks and Stones, Witherbee’s and Paradox Brewery all featurelibe music most weekends. There’s Monday night’s Jam Sessions at the Boathouse - sponsored by the Shroon Lake Arts Council (SLAC) and Witherbee’s Thursday Night open mic.
For opera and Broadway show fans, the world famous Seagle Music Colony has you covered.
And the Tuesday night Boathouse Concert series from SLAC has been a summer staple that brings in music lovers from near and far. And we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the live band playing at Wednesday’s square dances and the Timberwolve’s Saturday night karaoke. Now, SLAC is adding another event featuring music and culture: their Sunday’s in The Park series of performances. Congrats to the forward thinkers of SLAC for continuing to innovate.
