Saying Goodbye and Hello to a Schroon Institution

This was the scene today as the four decade old brown brick Stewart’s Shoppe came crashing down, just days after the new Stewart’s (In the background) opened for business. The demo will allow Stewart’s to install additional gas pumps and parking spaces, thus alleviating dangerous situations during the high traffic summer months when boaters, bikers and car owners vie for the limited pumps.
