New York bagels — the real deal from the Upper East side of Manhattan — have finally made the journey north for foodies and NY transplants.
The bagels made their debut Saturday morning at North Woods Bread Co, part of Pinecone Mercantile. From Lisa and Edward:
“REAL NYC BAGELS have arrived to the North Country! Hand-crafted on New York's Upper East Side... and finished in Schroon Lake! These beauties will be making their debut at North Woods Bread Co this Saturday & Sunday morning at 10am... while supplies last. Flavors available are: Plain, Sesame, Onion, Everything, Cinnamon/ Raisin. Quantities for this initial test order are limited, so stop in early! And don't forget to grab a container of our Vegetable or Scallion Cream Cheese, made in-house! Please note, bagels are being sold to take-away. We will not be cutting/ buttering/ toasting... just selling delicious goodness for you to enjoy at home!
