Mountainside Share Shop Opens Saturday
/The Mountainside Share Shop is officially opening back up on Saturday, we hear from Rännei Rambow. More from Rännei about what the Share Shop is all about and the important role it plays helping folks in our local communities:
“It's a major community outreach, which is why we do our best to keep the price so low! So many people refer to the Share Shop as a thrift store, but that is not what it is. We accept donations of clothing, shoes, accessories, and linens and once we've sorted through the donated items, we fill the racks in the shop, and instead of charging per item, we charge $3 per a bag. We use what’s called a T-shirt bag. They are bigger than a Walmart bag, but smaller than a standard 13 gallon trash bag. So, it fits quite a bit of stuff. We have people that come from all over: Ticonderoga, Hague, North Hudson, Pottersville, Chesterton, Warrensburg... And I'm sure from many other places as well. Please help us spread the word! Looking forward to seeing you all! We have missed you!”
The store’s hours: Saturdays from 9am - 1pm
Location: 147 U.S. 9, Schroon Lake, NY
Just off of I-87, Exit 27, Northbound.
