Hard to believe, but kids in some areas where Schroon lovers are from, are already back to school. And in our fair hamlet, this week sees a couple of “last of the season” events: It’s the last Tuesday night concert and Wednesday Square Dance. But there is still a ton going on, and this coming Labor Day, kicks off an amazing fun packed September, which you won’t want to miss.

Monday, August 24

Schroon Lake Farmers Market on the lawn of the Town Hall. Get the season’s best: fresh veggies, herbs, baked goods and salad greens. 9am – 1pm.

Tuesday, August 25
