Christmas Fun For All 2016
/The Christmas spirit is everywhere in greater Schroon. There are activities, events and music performances all month long, making our hamlet a go to destination. And there’s no shortage of Christmas shopping, from home furnishings, fashion and fine art.

All December Long. Come visit Santa’s Schroon Lake workshop at Rowe’s Cabins. There are wonderful window displays every night. We hear from the elves Santa may soon be making an appearance.
December 3
The Tannery Pond Community Center presents the North Country Singers Holiday Children’s Choir and Dancers. JCS Pop Singers and Jazz Band Guiding Steps North Dancers. Also on December 4th at 2pm.
December 4
Garnet Hill Lodge in North River. Live music, craft beer from local breweries, fine wines, craft vendors and yummy food. Sale on skis, winter wear, sports gear and accessories with deep discounts to yield savvy holiday shopping. 11am – 5pm.

A wreath-making class at 2 pm with mentored Maryanne Bowers and Lisa Salomon at Poiemaand The Vault, twin boutiques at 274 Main St, North Creek. For details, click here.

Calling all Schroon Lake area ladies! There’s a Christmas craft night where you can make very hip looking book page wreaths. All supplies are provided. It’s at the Mountainside Ministry Center (the long building near the share shop in in the lower parking lot). $3. For more information, click here.

Schroon Lake Public Library. 10.30 am. It’s a fun filled morning of Christmas themed fun with Ms. Betsi for children.

Build A Gingerbread Cabin at Sticks and Stones. 10am to 2pm. Bring an unwrapped children’s toy. Hot cocoa and muffins will be provided.. And a visit from the big Guy!

Schroon Lake Firehouse 28 Industrial Drive. 1pm to 3pm. Come see Santa and make Christmas Cookies. There’s hot chocolate, arts and crafts and games. For Pre-K to 4th grade. Proudly sponsored by the Schroon Lake Ladies Auxiliary.
