We’ve named Witherbee’s Carriage House Open Mic night as the hottest weekly music happening the in the ADKs. And week after week – new and old fans  -- are realizing how true it is.

Tonight, Mr. “Open Mic” himself, Mark Piper, is off on a well deserved vacation. Running the jamming session are two of our favorites, Linda and Tom of Hot Pursuit

Schroon Laker’s #TBT: A Double Header

This week’s #TBT could either go into our History or Food and Drink section. We have opted for History, as it’s a great yarn, worth preserving and one that few people know about.  It involves a cook known as John Gun Pin -- born in Donghai in mainland China’s Zhoushan Archipelago – who ended up at Schroon’s now defunct Idylwold Boys Camp. We recently uncovered this gem and wanted to share it with you. Former Idylwold campers – do you remember Chef Pin?  Read more in our History and Fun Facts section.
