You may have heard the above saying and perhaps seen a sign saying it.  Is it just a catchy slogan or is our association really in action?  The short answer is 'catchy slogan'? yes; in action...you better believe it!  So far in 2014 your association volunteers have contributed over 1,660 hours working for the lake and river and have put close to 4,500 miles on our cars.

It’s a concise primer  -- and a reminder how thankful we all should be for the forward thinking citizens and government officials  -- who saved this mighty six million acre wilderness, which is larger than Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Glacier and Great Smoky Mountain National Parks combined.
