The Dogs Are Coming To Schroon

We have more details to share about the big Sled Dog Weekend coming to Schroon in February. As we have previously reported the Pennsylvania Sled Dog Club has chosen Schroon Lake for their 2013 event. Mushers and dogs from all over the North East will descend upon Schroon beginning Friday, February 8th though Sunday, February 14.
On Friday night there will be Meet the Mushers events at area restaurants. The times for the races are Saturday: 9 am to 4 pm and Sunday: 9 am to 4 pm, followed by a trophy presentation.
And organizers have just announced a Spectator VIP Package which includes premium seating near the start and finish lines at the Town Golf course and lunch and beverages for two. The cost is $25 per person.
