Schroon Central Budget Results Delayed

It could be a long night for those with a stake in the outcome of today's vote on the school budget -- which included a proposition to buy two new buses -- and an election to fill two seats on the Board Of Education.

Due to a malfunction in the only voting machine available at Schroon Lake Central School earlier today, results have been delayed as paper ballots are tallied. We will report the results as soon as possible. We hear the machine became disabled this morning and voters were switched to paper ballots.
