Photo: Performer Curtis Becraft

Excitement is building for Schroon's first ever Opening Weekend, and the list of events and happenings seems to be growing by the day. Hundreds -- if not thousands -- of visitors are expected to descend upon our fair twon, attracted by the Tribute To The Troops concert, Summer Expo, Blessing of The Boats, The Lions Club Auction, The Boy Scout Pan Cake Breakfast and all weekend long Captain's Specials at area restaurants and garage sales throughout the community.
