Schroon Lake's Library Of Knowledge

Schroon Lake has many treasures, and among them  is local historian and author Ann Breen Metcalf. Ann, whose distinguished career includes stints in newspapers, magazines and at the American Museum of Natural History, is a fount of Schroon Lake knowledge. And tomorrow (Wednesday, June 13, 2012) you can hear Ann speak at the Friends of Schroon Lake Library’s annual meeting at the Fish & Game Club.

Ann will talk about the origins of the names of several local places in the North Country.
