It's Dangerous Out There
/
What appeared to be a mini microburst that hit our area just before 5.30pm bought down tree branches and power lines, making driving extremely hazardous.
From our position at The Paradox
House on Route 74 -- where we were attending an ADK Shakespeare Company Meet and Greet-- a transformer bought a power line down near the bridge over Schroon River.
A state trooper is stationed at the bridge and traffic is at a stand still in both directions.
Power was out all along Route 74.
Seconds before two booming thunderclaps shattered the peace, the ADK Shakes Company had just completed scenes from their original production of Hercules, which will be performed at the Boat House tomorrow at 11am.
