4th of July Eats: Chicken, Dogs, And A Whole Lot More
/There are two fine traditions that go hand in hand with Schroon's 4th of July. One is the 33rd Annual Chicken Barbecue at the Community Church and the other is the world famous Schroon Lake Lions Cook Shack. We just snapped the picture above of the birds on the grill at the Community Church. They begin serving at 11 am until they are sold out
For $9 you’ll get ½ a mouthwatering chicken, coleslaw, baked beans, a roll and a brownie with your choice of a drink. You can eat in at the church hall or get a take out box. You will find the Lions Cook Shack near the Town Beach where they'll be serving up dogs and burgers.
