SOS: Save Our Strand

*Shelby and Chris at Mr. P’s Mountain Smokehouse, naming a sandwich after Larry – with a big bite of the proceeds going to The Strand.

*The Timberwolf Pub is holding a 50/50 raffle to raise funds for The Strand. Tickets are on sale now until December 5th. Winner will be drawn at their Holiday Get Together.

*The T. Backer Fund, a small non-profit organization based in Upstate NY --  that supports the arts and social services --  has made a whopping donation of $2,000 to Save The Strand Theater!

*And what did Schroon Laker Carol Greig  want for her recent momentous birthday celebration? Why she simply asked her party guests to make donations to the Save The Strand Theater fund in lieu of gifts....and $1,400 was raised!  Yoo-hoo!

*And the folks at the Glens Falls National Bank raised more than a few bucks recently by  raffling off a the popcorn machine – won by Angela Nolan – at their recent dress up as a movie star-Halloween celebration.
