George J. Linendoll: 1940 - 2013
/Schroon Lake recently mourned the loss another friend of many with the passing of George J. Linendoll. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Troy, N.Y.

George J. Linendoll, 73, passed into eternal rest suddenly Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at his home.
George was born July 29, 1940, in Troy, N.Y., the son of the late George B. and Mary Gallo Linendoll.
George was a graduate of Augustine’s School and Catholic Central High School, Class of 1959.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.
George worked at Zac’s in Green Island and retired as a machinist from General Electric in Schenectady.
George was an avid outdoors man who loved to fish and hunt.
Survivors include his brother, Tom; his sister, Joan Rice; several nephews; a niece; and many cousins. He also leaves behind many friends and hunting and fishing buddies who will miss him, too.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Troy, N.Y.
Interment with military honors will follow in the family lot at St. Johns Cemetery in Troy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials take the form of donations to American Heart Association.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home, Schroon Lake.
