Even without power, the show went on at the Boathouse last night, when The Schroon Lake Art's Coouncil's featured performers -- the Al Berard Cajan Combo -- took the stage in the dark.
Organizer Jack Osborne says about 40 folks watched as the trio played a modified version of what would have been featured with the power on.
The band took the blackout in good stride, we hear from Jack. "'Let's do a short concert.' they said."
What was the experience like? "Like closing your eyes and listening to music."
There was no charge to the public, but some folks chipped in a few bucks. Jack also used the opportunity as a membership drive.
