If the performers at tonight’s Open Mic Night sound in super-fine form tonight, they are most likely getting ready for their big on camera debuts this coming Saturday.

Starting at 6 pm, Witherbee's Carriage House will host the 1st Annual Witherbee’s Open Mic CD and DVD Recording Party.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Wounded Warriors project, an organization that Bill and Patty Christian have long supported. Funds will also go to support the Harry Chapin Foundation.

Everyone is welcome and we hear there maybe two special guest: proud members of our military wounded in the line of duty. There will also be raffles and prizes.

Donations will be gladly accepted and there will be commemorative T-shirts for sale. The CD/DVD will be sold throughout the year.
