This could be the weekend -- or maybe next? -- for Prime Leaf Peeping in Schroon and our surrounding towns
The above photo was taken late last Sunday afternoon, after two glorious summer like days and nights.
The Press Republican has a guide, here to the rest of the Adirondacks. Based on our assessment last week, we are guessing we are at about 60 per cent of the leaves have changed. Temperatures return to fall like conditions this weekend, with the National Weather Service predicting temps in the high 50s to low 60s.
