EVENING TO 7 PM EST FRIDAY... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BURLINGTON CONTINUES THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 PM EST FRIDAY.

* LOCATIONS...THE NORTHERN ADIRONDACKS OF NORTHERN NEW YORK.

* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY WET SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW.

* MAXIMUM SNOWFALL RATE...UP TO 1 INCH PER HOUR...MAINLY THROUGH MIDNIGHT.

* TIMING...RAIN AND SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA THROUGH THIS EVENING BEFORE BECOMING ALL SNOW. THE SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO FRIDAY BEFORE TAPERING OFF TO SNOW SHOWERS FRIDAY NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...UNTREATED ROAD SURFACES WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED...ESPECIALLY AT HIGHER ELEVATIONS. TEMPERATURES WILL DROP BELOW FREEZING EARLY FRIDAY MORNING...THEN DROP SIGNIFICANTLY FRIDAY NIGHT. ANY PRECIPITATION ON ROADWAYS WILLFREEZE AND CAUSE ICY ROAD CONDITIONS.

* WINDS...NORTH 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 20 MPH LATER TONIGHT AND ESPECIALLY FRIDAY.

* TEMPERATURES...LOWS TONIGHT AROUND 30. HIGHS FRIDAY IN THE 30 TO35 DEGREE RANGE.

* VISIBILITIES...VISIBILITIES COULD DROP TO 1/2 MILE AT TIMES.
