The Ice Is Officially Out: Start Those Boat Engines

As of Tuesday, around 3pm-ish -- the ice was officially out on Schroon Lake, we hear from a source. There are many anxiously awaiting the exact time -- those that would have an investment in the Schroon Lions Club "Ice Out" contest -- where cash money is up for grabs to the lucky few who come closest to nailing the time when the "ice out" device literally breaks the ice. We should have the official results later today. Ready for the boating/canoeing/kayaking/sailing/jet ski/water skiing/wake board season?
