The Coldest Hump Day of The Year?

We normally look forward to Wednesday, Hump Day, but this week’s is gonna be a bone cruncher. The current forecast from the National Weather Center suggests the low of the day will be -17 degrees! That’s not cold – that’s approaching the temperature range where Hell Freezes Over!. Was it us complaining about last week’s balmy high 30 and low 40 degree temps, and how that was bad for snow making at Gore? Shame On Us!!! Here is your guide for what to expect up until Wednesday.

Monday -- Mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 10 by 5pm. Wind chill values as low as -7. West wind 16 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Monday Night -- Partly cloudy, with a low around -4. Wind chill values as low as -11. West wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light southwest after midnight.

Tuesday -- Light snow likely, mainly after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 15. Wind chill values as low as -4. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Tuesday Night -- A  -- 50 percent chance of snow showers, mainly after 7pm. Cloudy, with a low around 9. Light south wind. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Wednesday -- A 40 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 16. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
