Chili Cook Off Produces Cold Hard Cash

The folks at the Schroon Lake EMS have good reason to be so happy in the above photo! After all, they had just received a cool $1,000 check from Shelby Davis, the chief honcho of last month’s Annual Cook-Off, one of the premiere events on the Schroon Lake Area Chamber of Commerce calendar.

We are proud to announce that we won 2 trophies, Best Meaty Chili and Best Fire/Rescue Squad Chili! and 2nd place for People's Choice Award! A HUGE Thank You to Shelby and Chris from Mr.P's Mountain Smokehouse and Tammy from Schroon Lake Chamber of Commerce for all of your hard work to make this happen! Thank you to Mountainside Academy for the use of their facility! We are truly grateful for everyone's support!
