More Weekend News: Camp Ground Closings and a Movie Opening

Mr. Holmes plays Friday through Sunday nights at the Strand

A few more New York State Department of Environmental Conservation campgrounds will shut there gates at the end of weekend. Locally say goodbye to Eagle Point and Schroon Manor on Schroon Lake. Remaining NYS campgrounds will close October 12.

The Strand starts showing Mr. Holmes tonight, through Sunday night at 8pm. A new movie will be featured next weekend, and Larry tells us the theatre will be open through Columbus Day.
