Welcome Pine Cone Provisions, a new storefront on Schroon’s Main Street, expected to open this Saturday. The market, featuring Adirondack, North Country and local produce and goods, is the work of entrepreneurs, Lisa Hess-Marks and her husband Edward.

The store adjoins the couple’s Pine Come Mercantile and the North Woods Bread Co, the former site of the Morningstar Bistro.

From Lisa: “Welcome to Pine Cone Provisions! We are a small farm stand and specialty grocery store adjacent to Pine Cone Mercantile and North Woods Bread Co on Main Street in Schroon Lake, NY. Our mission is to provide local organic produce, locally raised meats (pork, chicken, beef)... alongside a small, handpicked assortment of unique food items.

We still have a long punch list of things to do... but anticipate opening this Saturday (Memorial Day Weekend) at 10am. Over the next few days, we'll be tempting you with photos and posts of some of the products we'll be offering, so stay tuned!”
