A Busy Season for The Schroon Lake Arts Council
/On top of their popular Summer Concert Schedule, the Schroon Lake Arts Council is pulling in big crowds for their weekly Boat House Acoustic Jam sessions, according to President Jack Osborne.
“The jam sessions are becoming more and more popula. We have had good numbers of performers and audience members, many who stay until the end of the night.”
Jack says the summer series has been “very successful” as he and his team seek out new acts. And the Arts Council is very excited about Tuesday night’s Boxcar Lilies.
The group, from Western Massachusetts, has quickly gathered a die hard following with their signature mix of country, folk and bluegrass Americana roots music.
Their innovative harmonies and top-notch songwriting -- blended with guitar, claw hammer banjo, ukulele, electric bass, and washboard -- will have you tapping your feet and smiling.
Tickets are $12 for adults and just $5 for kids. Call 518-532-9259 and check out their upcoming schedule, here.
